One secret of Terroir Coffee is that it tastes best without the addition of heavy cream, milk, and/or sugar. Most coffee is consumed with sugar or cream because most coffee tastes bitter without it.
Commercial beans produced in bulk quantity taste so bad that roasters must over roast them to cover the unpleasant taste, which as a result makes them bitter. A common technique is to blend different beans in a hope to cancel out one bad taste with another one. Last resort is to add artificial flavors such as hazelnut, French vanilla etc. Have you ever had a hazelnut flavor wine before?
One thing that George Howell has done is to work with small farmers to first produce the beans the right way (not to focus on raising its yields, rather its quality). Combined with such high quality beans, the roasting technique is perfected to produce the perfect Cup of Excellence!
You don’t have to be bold to drink black coffee; At Terra Café, drinking black coffee can be enjoyable. Whereas in most coffee places, one will have to be bold enough to drink black coffee or will have to drink black coffee as bold coffee.
Come to test it yourself. You will soon find out yourself enjoying coffee is just like sipping a glass of nice wine. I rarely drink coffee with cream or sugar anymore after I started drinking Terrior coffee nearly a decade ago. Most people who work in Terra Café now realize the difference between Terroir Coffee beans and others, and drink coffee without cream or sugar.
Thank you for your support of our new introduction of Terroir Coffee into this wonderful town of Williamstown. Enjoy it.
